Persystent CEO to Speak at Help Desk Institute’s 2007 Conference Ray Weadock to Discuss New Breed of Support Strategy which Allows IT to Focus on Strategic Initiatives

Tampa, FL, April 26, 2007
– Persystent Technologies, the leader in automated desktop availability and compliance solutions, today announced that CEO Ray Weadock has been selected as a featured presenter at the Help Desk Institute (HDI) Annual Conference. Mr. Weadock’s presentation, entitled “Taking the Next Step in User Satisfaction,” will offer guidance into how today's help desk can excel in the face of increasing complexity and cost created by an increase in applications, end user devices and worker mobility. Mr. Weadock will challenge IT professionals to rethink the traditional support model and evolve to the next level in service and business alignment by resolving routine incidents automatically, at level zero. Attendees will leave the session with an understanding of how the help desk can take a proactive step forward and provide greater value to the business while improving user satisfaction and controlling costs.

With IT departments facing increasing pressure to prove strategic value, this session is designed for attendees who are prepared for high-level thinking about how desktop support will be structured and delivered in the near future. Strategies involving policy definition and enforcement to meet compliance challenges, such as those posed by Sarbanes-Oxley, and evolving standards in ITIL will be a key focus. Finally, Mr. Weadock will provide a framework for IT decision makers to think about their next steps in improving support, controlling its cost and increasing the overall significance of the support organization to the business.

HDI 2007 will be held at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas, NV from April 30th to May 3rd, 2007. Mr. Weadock’s presentation is scheduled for Tuesday, May 1st, 2007 from 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM.
